Hello, dear GloSSies!

Yesterday (2/3), GloSS proudly hosted a seminar about Social sustainability with the inspirational and empathic Hans Abrahamsson, associate professor in Peace and Development Studies. The questions discussed were "What is social sustainability and why it is important?", "What essential aspects are there?" and "How can we work more effectively for social sustainability?".

Hans Abrahamsson

The seminar was on social sustainability, how the world has developed with the Pre-Westphalian order to the Westphalian order and finally the Post-Westphalian order, the challenges we have before us regarding the state in connection to the vacuum in the political room and various social and political forces in our society. GloSS offered vegan gluten-free fika and we managed to recruit a lot of members (Yaaay!), whereas our 60th member was Hans Abrahamsson himself :) The discussion was combined with fika and it was a very stimulating discussion with many perspectives and thoughts exchanged!

We are so very happy and satisfied with the outcome of the event and we also hope you had a good time :)

Thank you and we hope to see you again at our other events,

GloSS
